When given the opportunity to browse a variety of plants (incl. bark, seeds, flowers, stems etc.) horses benefit from fresh phyto-nutrients (antioxidants, vitamins, minerals) and nutraceuticals too - plant constituents with medicinal and therapeutic attributes. Seeking out favourite "patches of snatches" promotes physical and mental well-being and contributes to the diversity of gut bacteria - the breadth of which is typically very narrow in traditional domestic settings

We have a mixture of browsing, medicinal, shade and occasional plants.
Browsing plants, while very beneficial are not intended to replace grass or hay,
but to add diversity to the diet
We aim to provide more information over time, but encourage people to
do their own research to determine if a plant is suitable for their horse
